We seek volunteers to help the organization continue both our capacity building and the development of our programming.
Review portions of applications from final grants applicants
Attend site visits
Vote on top choices of grant docket
Eligible to interview to be on Grants Committee (committee members are appointed in the fall)
Suggest, plan, lead and/or attend educational events
Event planning
Market/promote series
Assist with day of activities (such as registration, set-up)
Cultivate Group Philanthropy Partners
Train/Coach board and staff on fundraising skills
Assist with strategizing a Partner development plan
Plan engagement events
Organize the convening of grantees, funders, and other organizations
Organize brown bag discussion groups
Organize learning communities
Contribute to conversations at monthly Idea Club meetings
Lead Idea Club in specific discussion topic
Write and edit seminar handouts
Write articles for e-news, website and/or local papers
Assist in creation of evaluation metrics and plans
Train/Coach Board on logic model and theory of change work
Assist in consolidating and communicating information about the Foundation’s impact
Website optimization
Pro bono legal services
Seminar Committee
Evaluation/Assessment Committee
Engagement/Fundraising Committee
Website/Technology Committee
Communications/PR Committee
Volunteer Management Committee
Finance/Investment Committee
*Group Philanthropy Partners are defined as annual donors of at least $250.
