IDEA CLUB & BlogThe Idea Club is an informal discussion group on science and sustainability issues that are relevant today and relate to the activities of Sustainable Path Foundation. Participation is open to volunteers, Group Philanthropy Partners and other interested members of the community. Mark your calendar: the Idea Club will meet regularly on the FOURTH Monday of the month from 5 to 7 PM at the Sustainable Path Foundation office (2101 4th Ave., Suite 650, Seattle, WA). The next meeting will be on Monday, June 28. Click the sign up button below. Each meeting will have a pre-scheduled topic for discussion. Idea Club is composed of people with many different levels of expertise in the topic, from expert to novice but all wishing to be part of a conversation that generates ideas. We welcome participants to attend whether or not they have prepared any prior research on the subject. Food and EatingPosted: June 24, 2010 We had a wonderful Seminar on the 9th looking at food and eating. If we hope to ever create a sustainable community, we need to understand the proper role food and eating play, how our consumption can distort agriculture and how the complex systems involved can be altered.
