The Idea Club is an informal discussion group on science and sustainability issues that are relevant today and relate to the activities of Sustainable Path Foundation. Participation is open to volunteers, Group Philanthropy Partners and other interested members of the community.

Mark your calendar: the Idea Club will meet regularly on the FOURTH Monday of the month  from 5 to 7 PM at the  Sustainable Path Foundation office (2101 4th Ave., Suite 650, Seattle, WA). The next meeting will be on Monday, MARCH 22. Click the sign up button below.

Each meeting will have a pre-scheduled topic for discussion. March 22, 2010 Idea Club

Posted: March 11, 2010

This month’s Idea Club will discuss systems thinking, using a template developed by the Sustainable Path Foundation. Amongst the questions we will examine are: How does systems thinking change the individual? the team? the organization? the community? How does synthesis drive systems thinking, in contrast to analysis which drives hierarchical thinking? What are some of the problems we face today that require systems thinking to solve?

Hope to see you there on the 22nd of March.
