IDEA CLUB & Blog

The Idea Club is an informal discussion group on science and sustainability issues that are relevant today and relate to the activities of Sustainable Path Foundation. Participation is open to volunteers, Group Philanthropy Partners and other interested members of the community.

Mark your calendar: the Idea Club will meet regularly on the FOURTH Monday of the month  from 5 to 7 PM at the  Sustainable Path Foundation office (2101 4th Ave., Suite 650, Seattle, WA). The next meeting will be on Monday, June 28. Click the sign up button below.

Each meeting will have a pre-scheduled topic for discussion. Idea Club is composed of people with many different levels of expertise in the topic, from expert to novice but all wishing to be part of a conversation that generates ideas. We welcome participants to attend whether or not they have prepared any prior research on the subject.

If you have future thoughts that you would like to be the topic of discussion for an evening or if you have any questions about Idea Club, please send us an email at info at sustainablepath.org or call us at 206-443-8464.

The next Idea Club will continue the conversation from the June 9 Seminar – Our Food and Eating. Mary Embleton and Brit Yamamoto will speak on the 9th at Town Hall. Please join us then.

On the 28th, Idea Club will also examine our food and eating. We will discuss how we can make our meals sustainable, how current practices make green eating difficult and what we all can do.
