Next Idea Club – Citizen Science

The October Idea Club will examine citizen science – the movement of science out of academia into the public square. The web allows us to disperse information much more rapidly. DIY science, such as garage bio is universalizing the scientific method and technology,such as makerbots, is putting almost anything in the reach of everybody.

How will science change ifit does not have to happen in a research lab? How will our daily lives? Come hear about the latest and where we will be in a short few years. The possibilities are pretty amazing.
