   An important local resource for urban farming that was mentioned but not listed in the notes is:

   Seattle Tilth Association. http://www.seattletilth.org

   They are a non-profit that teaches people how to grow their own food organically and sustainably here in the city and have several demonstration gardens.

   They coordinate bulk orders for urban farming materials like chicken feed.
